VFXTutored Tutorials Regular Level Introduction


This level is for those that know the tools, techniques and theories and now it's time to perform some of the regular tasks and make sure they become second nature. That way as you start to work on more complex pipelines the foundation will be set and you’ll have no problems adapting and learning new techniques. The regular level will also show you proper workflows, it will explain some techniques and ideas behind certain workflows and you’ll have the benefit of having a better understanding and work techniques under your belt.

Image Modelling in PFTrack 2017

This course will show you how to work with the auto track node and how to use masks in order to block areas that PFTrack shouldn’t track. We will also see how to use Image modelling node and we will build parts of the geometry and we will also see how to extract projected textures out of that geometry. We will then export the PFTrack project into Maya and set fit camera and point cloud to have the perfect perspective.

Solving a Camera with Object Tracking

It’s not always that you’ll have a shot in which you’ll be able to track and solve it in the traditional way. In this course we will see such a case and how we can use the Object Tracking node in order to solve the camera. We will also test the solved camera by trying to solve the footage in the traditional way and see if the results compare.
